meet zipcar for business members think.eat.drink
Each month we put the spotlight on one of our Zipcar for Business accounts to celebrate the great work they do and how they use Zipcar to make it happen. This month meet Think.Eat.Drink (T.E.D). They’re a specialist catering consultancy and events company, with a focus on healthy eating and environmental responsibility (and of course Zipcar goes a long way to help them achieve this!). Read on to find out more about T.E.D and how they use Zipcar.
"Think.Eat.Drink (T.E.D) specialise in events, consultancy, and have also developed a pioneering membership scheme to all businesses involved within the hospitality industry, to combat ‘greenwash’.
The ethos of T.E.D is built upon a strong commitment to sustainable, responsible procurement and a dedication to delicious seasonal food, delivered by a highly professional and happy team. With this ethos the T.E.D team decided that the use of Zipcar was paramount to reducing their carbon footprint, which indeed it has.
T.E.D is led by Jamie Grainger-Smith whose working career spans over 20 years in some of the most influential and innovative restaurants in the world including Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Restaurant, Alastair Little and The River Café. He also co-founded the multi award winning restaurants Acorn House in Kings Cross and Waterhouse Restaurant in trendy Hoxton, as well as being part of the set up and events team at The Hub, King’s Cross.
With a dedication and focus on healthy eating, environmental responsibility and seasonal menus (from the finest canapés to the highest quality fine dining six course tasting menu), T.E.D Events offers businesses a unique experience to eat and drink responsibly and sustainably without compromising on quality or style.
One of our most stunning events was a ‘pop up’ restaurant & bar for The Prince of Wales' Charity, Start UK. We created for the first time ever, a fine dining 100 seat restaurant within Lancaster House, a 60 seat terrace restaurant and a bar that hosted 180 people.
Think.Eat.Drink exists to provide a service that promotes sustainability and responsibility in the world of food and drink. We also recognise that our success depends not just on our integrity and good governance, but also upon our proven ability to respond to a client’s needs.
