moving house, driving to see friends or just doing the weekly shop? all Oxford University Polo Club members can use our cars and vans at discounted rates!
What is Zipcar?
Zipcar is the world's largest pay-as-you-go car sharing network, with over 1,500 vehicles in the UK. You can book our vehicles from one hour to a whole day or even a week, so you only pay for what you need. Our cars and vans are located in on-street bays near your home and work, providing quick and easy access so you avoid the cost, time and hassle of owning and parking your own.
Why use Zipcar?
Zipcar is a great alternative to owning your own car. With the average car sat idle 96% of the time, Zipcar’s pay as you go approach means you only pay for a car when you need it, whether for a few hours or by the day. A typical car club member saves around £3500 annually verses owning a car.
Where are the vehicles located?
With over 1,500 cars and vans in the fleet across London, Oxford, Cambridge and Bristol, you're never more than a short walk away from a Zipcar.
How much does it cost?
As a Oxford University Polo Club member, you are provided with a reduced annual membership fee of £39.50 (usually £59.50) plus £10 driving credit and reduced rates, starting at just £5 an hour. All reservations include 60 miles free fuel, comprehensive insurance and the Congestion Charge.
What vehicles are in the fleet?
We have a range of vehicles to suit all your needs including the Toyota Yaris, Ford Fiesta, VW Golf, 7 seater Ford Grand C-Max, the Audi A3 and the VW Transporter van.
