Courgettes

Thanks to all the rain and the little bit of sunshine (and thanks especially to Ted the three-legged cat’s efforts chasing off hungry birds) the Zipcar Garden is really starting to bloom.

Since I last updated you everything has started coming to life – the garlic is shooting out of the ground, the courgettes and red peppers are flowering and the raspberries are just humongous. We built some meshing, which the peas are eagerly climbing, and we’re about to build a herb planter to give anything we cook up from the Garden a bit of “pow”.

Don’t forget, green-fingered Zipcar members can also get inspired with 12 issues of the bestselling Gardeners’ World Magazine for just £28 – saving 40% off the cover price.

Be sure to check out the latest update in full, and we’d love to hear how your own gardens are coming along in this disappointing summer.
